Virginia Author Makes the New York Times Bestseller List
It’s not often that a book becomes a New York Times bestseller on the first week of its release, but that’s just what happened to Jason Wright’s latest novel, The Wednesday Letters. After appearing on the syndicated Glenn Beck radio program and CNN Glenn Beck Show on the book’s release date, The Wednesday Letters quickly climbed the bestseller’s lists and reached #2 on BarnesandNoble.com and #3 on Amazon.com within the first 24 hours of its release. One week later it debuted at #6 on the New York Times bestseller list. Wright is the author of another bestseller, Christmas Jars. These two are his first national book releases (he previously released one regional title). Being compared to such popular authors as Nicholas Sparks and Richard Paul Evans, Jason writes with a heartwarming and motivating touch. His first book caused a new form of kindness to spread across the country: people are collecting “Christmas jars”—filled with spare change – and giving them to people in need during the holidays. Jason’s latest book encourages readers to not forget about the art of letter writing.
